We’re a husband-and-wife team who believe Medicare should feel personal, understandable, and a whole lot less overwhelming. We built Me & Medicare to give people a place where they can ask questions, understand their options, and know they have real people they can call when they need help.

Kent has spent years helping people navigate Medicare and understand their coverage options. He believes Medicare should feel personal—not like calling a giant company where you’re just another number. He takes the time to listen, answer questions and help clients understand their choices.
Long before Medicare, though, Kent had a pretty unusual life. From spending part of his childhood on Mauna Kea in Hawaii, to inventing products, traveling the country, and even making an appearance on The Price Is Right, there’s rarely been a shortage of stories around here.

The Quick Angle and Sure Grip are two products he designed, both reflecting the same curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving mindset he’s carried throughout his life.

GROWING UP
Kent spent part of his childhood on Mauna Kea in Hawaii, where life was simple, adventurous, and a little unconventional. His family lived in a modest sugarcane worker’s shack, collected rainwater, cooked outdoors, and spent much of their time exploring the land around them.
Those early years helped shape the curiosity, independence, and love of adventure that have followed him throughout his life.

Stephanie has spent most of her adult life in people-centered roles, with family and relationships always at the heart of what matters most to her. Raised largely by her grandparents, she learned early how much trust, patience, and follow-through can matter when someone is navigating healthcare or simply needs a dependable person in their corner.
Today, she brings that same approach to Me & Medicare, where she focuses on client care, organization, and making the process feel personal from the very first conversation. When it’s time to discuss Medicare plans, benefits, or coverage options, clients work directly with Kent.
A Little More About Stephanie
THE UNLIKELY TRAVELER
If you had asked Stephanie years ago what her life would look like, full-time travel probably wouldn’t have been the answer. Growing up largely with her grandparents, she imagined a more traditional life — a white picket fence, homemade cookies and ice cream, arts and crafts, and a home filled with family.
Kent had to do a fair amount of convincing before she agreed to try RV life. Somewhere along the way, though, the road became part of their story.
She still loves making wherever they are feel like home — but now “home” might be Florida one month, the Pacific Northwest the next, or somewhere in between.
A CAREER BUILT AROUND PEOPLE
Stephanie spent nearly two decades working in healthcare, with experience in family practice, orthopedics, Chronic Care Management, and Remote Patient Monitoring. Her Chronic Care Management work focused entirely on Medicare patients, and she spent years working closely with hundreds of patients each month, helping coordinate medications, appointments, follow-ups, devices, and the many details that come with ongoing care.
Her connection to healthcare began long before her professional career. Raised largely by her grandparents, Stephanie became closely involved in helping care for them as they aged. That experience gave her an early understanding of how overwhelming healthcare can feel for older adults and families.
Those years, both personally and professionally, shaped the way she approaches people today: listen first, pay attention to the details, follow through, and treat every person like they matter.
FAMILY, LOVE & ADVENTURE
Family has always been at the center of Stephanie’s world. Her kids and grandkids are a huge part of the decisions she makes, the places she goes, and the life she wants to build.
Just as important is the life she shares with Kent. They’ve made a conscious choice to keep their marriage one of their top priorities — making time for each other, exploring new places, laughing through the unexpected, and creating memories together along the way.
For Stephanie, the best part of this season of life is having both: staying deeply connected to the people she loves most while continuing to build a life full of family, adventure, and new experiences with Kent.
